INTERFAITH
Christians, Muslims, and Jews

During our 11 years in Jerusalem and Bethlehem I studied Islam with a notable Muslim teacher, and Judaism at the Martin Buber institute at Hebrew University. We had long conversations about Islam and Christianity with Muslim students in our Friendship Center.
I have taught Christianity to Muslims and Jew, Judaism to Christians and Muslims, and Islam to Christians and Jews.

I am a lifelong, devote Christian myself. But when I study or teach another religion, I am not trying to refute it. I try to understand and convew what it means to the people who live by it. However, studies of Judaism and Islam have certainly enriched my Christian faith.

The essays and stories below are drawn from my  interfaith experiences in Israel and Palestine.
