DAVID AND WILLOW TEETER

Rev. David Teeter and his wife Willow's cross-cultural interfaith ministry has spanned the globe from Washington State to Africa and the Middle East.

David has pastored several churches and taught Bible in several Christian colleges in the U.S. and Bethlehem. They are currently members of Skyline Presbyterian Church in Tacoma.

David has a B.A. degree from the University of Puget Sound, and a Master's degree from Pacific Lutheran University. He has also completed two years of doctoral research in Jerusalem.

Willow has a B.A. and two years of graduate study from the University of Washington and is a retired public school teacher.

David and Willow both have professional mediator certificates from the University Washington Law School, and have both mediated numerous conflict situations.

David and Willow are now retired but active in their community and church. David is available locally for seminars and pulpit supply.

David and Willow's ministries have included:

Israel and Palestine

(1977- 1989).

David was International Director of Project Redemption. Middle East projects included.

Friendship Center. An off-campus student center for Muslim - Christian dialog. Willow served as Director.

Bethlehem Bible College. Trained Palestinian Christians for leadership and ministry.

Baptist Congregation in Jerusalem. David served as an elder, moderator, and interim pastor.

In Tacoma, Washington

(1990-Today)

Upon returning from the Middle East, David has served as:

Pastor. Hillside Community Church (1993-2003).

Professional Mediator. Director of two Christian mediation services (1994-1999)

Currently: Members of Skyline Presbyterian Church in Tacoma. David teaches a weekly Bible Study.

Willow is the lead small claims court mediator for Pierce County.
